Christmas in May!

The challenge over a "Less is More" is to use yellow. I have played along for the last couple of weeks and I have to say I am really enjoying seeing and being inspired to try new things.

Although I have been making cards for quite some time I don't have a lot of crafting equipment. I have always wanted to get into stamping and colouring but lacked the funds to feed my desire! This is the only stamp I own apart from sentiments. The other thing I lack is pens! I played around all weekend with what I had and decided to treat myself. so I have ordered some Letraset Markers. Woo-hoo! Now to get some stamps!

Anyway I made the most of what I did have and although I didn't intend for this to be a Christmas Card when I started out it ended up as one!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has visited and left such kind comments. x

Six and Stamping!

Sharing a "sunny" little number with you today that I was asked to make for a six year old girl. Perfectly matching the sunny weather we are having today (rather windy though!).  I thought the little bag rather than an envelope could be reused to keep bits and pieces in.

This second card was my first attempt at stamping and colouring.

Thanks for stopping by. x

Wedding

This weeks challenge over at Cas-ual Fridays is to use flowers or trees on your card. I needed to make a wedding card so flowers were a must!

It's raining today but I'm not complaining as yesterday was so hot and muggy and it also saves having to water the garden! one less job on the list of things to do today!

Thanks for stopping by. x

Engagement

This is my first time playing along with "Less is more". We were given a choice from two sketches:-

I went with the square.
I needed to make an engagement card and the sketch was ideal for the job!
I was really pleased with the result. Less really is more!

It was a really hazy hot day today with a lot of red dust in the air so I didn't want to risk taking the card outside to photograph, not with all that white! So the kitchen windowsill had to do.

Thanks for stopping by! x
